we love.. Jewel Tones

Posted by Nathalie - Buying Team - February 3, 2012 05:29

Summer may be nearly over, but there is no need to get depressed about the lack of colour for the Winter season.. following a Summer of bright, pop colours, the Winter sees us decking ourselves head- to - toe in rich, luxurious jewel tones that will make your Winter look stand out.

Our tip: Don't be afraid to mix colours, tones and textures together to get a runway ready look

Bankstown Staff Style

Posted by Lauren - PR Coordinator - November 28, 2011 05:50

I rocked up to our Bankstown store yesterday to help them out for the day, and absolutely LOVED the outfit that our Sunday Manager, Keyla, was wearing. She really let her statement necklace do all the talking, whilst keeping it on trend with coloured jeans, and our beautiful "Sien" sandal by KO Fashion.

Wedding Bells!

Posted by Lauren - PR Coordinator - November 25, 2011 03:11

I'm heading to a wedding tomorrow (and I'm really hoping the weather clears up, as we have been experiencing almost torrential rain here in Sydney for the past few days!) and I thought I should save myself some money and wear an old dress. But then I thought, where is the fun in that?? Weddings are one of the only occasions where you can really dress up these days, and sometimes it's fun to be a little girly!

So I've got my tan on, my hair and makeup booked, and my outfit bought and planned (all items are brand new!):

Now that I have everything planned and under control, I can really look forward to enjoying the beautiful event tomorrow! I'm excited!

Victoria's Secret Angel Style

Posted by Nathalie - Buying Team - November 16, 2011 07:12

It's that time of year- where the focus is on a bevvy of beauties strutting their stuff in million-dollar-diamond bras and their amazingly ridiculous bodies! I know I just stare at the screen with envy and jealousy during the Victoria's Secret Runway Show, but I do also love their off-catwalk style and beauty...

Although we'd all love to have the body, the hair and the face, here is a way you can get Alessandra, Miranda, Chanel and Rosie's look, fashion-wise.

Alessandra with a modern twist on the LBD, try it with Menda by Glamour Puss in the Gold Glitter, And Alexis bag in Black by Vintage Princess.

Stunning Chanel Iman in a sleek red dress with gold accessories.. Try Verali's Farrah in Gold Glitter, along with Rosie Bag in Gold Glitter.

Miranda Kerr looking oh-so-beautiful and denim jeans and a pop of pink... Try Tony Bianco's Parific in the Nude Patent, and Alexis bag in Beige from Vintage Princess.

My personal favourite, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, looking effortlessly chic in a black maxi and flats. Try Willie in Pink Suede for a splash of colour, along with Vanessa in Tan from Vintage Princess.

Summer [Holiday] Dreaming

Posted by Lauren - PR Coordinator - November 10, 2011 01:48

I just got back from a dream holiday to Thailand, and another of our office girls Megan is set to jet off tomorrow... I'm still in that dreamy holiday period where I'm reminiscing over all the experiences I had so I thought I'd share a few musings here with you all :)

Anyone who's been knows that Thailand is hot and smelly, but it is also beautiful, and the people are super friendly.  Fashion wise, it is uber casual. You can get around in a singlet, shorts and thongs most days, and the nights don't step up much from that!  I had brought one pair of humble Havaianas, as well as a choice of three dressy sandals (Sien by KO, Sergio by Diavolina and Polini by Jolie), and some enclosed shoes (for the jungle trekking!) I packed suuuppperrr light in case I shopped up a storm, I wanted to avoid those excess baggage charges! So my very basic wardrobe consisted of a singlet, t-shirt, some shirts, a skirt and a dress (and I bought a local beer singlet whilst there):

These basics got me through most of Thailand! I ended up with an extra dress and a white linen shirt-style cover up too, basic colours that could mix through with what I already had... I visited the most amazing places.

From Phuket I went out on a day trip to gorgeous mini island Koh Kai as well as Phang Nga ("James Bond Island") and saw some gorgeous sea caves and natural cliffs etc. I also got to do a canoe trip through the jungle, and an elephant trek up to some stone mountains - all the foliage was so green and beautiful! In Koh Samui I did some shopping and visited a wildlife park (where I got to hold a gorgeous baby tiger and pat a bigger adolescent tiger - sooooooo amazing!). Then it was back to Phuket to get a speedboat to Phi Phi Island - a hidden gem. I stayed right at the top of the island on a fairly private beach that looked out to Maya Bay (where "The Beach" was filmed) and a few other gorgeous islands for some snorkeling and boating...

The amazing resorts I stayed in:

I'm excited for the weather here to get as hot as it was there and for some more beach times... Ahhhhhhh Summer!

Raceday

Posted by Nathalie - Buying Team - October 19, 2011 09:18

Spring Racing is well underway! And with the big one fast approaching, it's a race to the shops for a fascinator, dress and shoes worthy of day at Randwick.

Here are my picks for the perfect spring race shoe..

Debby in the Grey/White combo is so 50s feminine- I'm picturing it with a cinched-at-the-waist dress and slick of red lippy! Also available in Blue/White and Red/White.

Fallen by Siren in the Black Patent/Nude Patent combo is the perfect lady like silhouette- not to mention the handy block heel which will prevent any sinking into grass!

Arrie by JLH for Siren is to die for! The perfect colour and style for Spring and would look amazing with a floral dress.

Carlot by Tony Bianco- Understated and oh-so sexy! Go a bright dress or wear a head to toe-tonal outfit with this shoe!

Zone by Glamour Puss is that classic t-bar court with a platform to keep you comfortable. Team with a slimline dress and a slick of almost-nude lippy..

Divina by Siren comes in an array of colours and is the perfect statement shoe! Mix with other pop colours for an on trend races look!
